The Myth Of The Underground Bases And The Ancient Extraterrestrials

Deep in north-central New Mexico is (or was there?) The sleepy town of Dulce which sits on Colorado’s Mesa Archuleta. It is inhabited by about 3000 inhabitants and is the capital of the Jicarilla Apache Nation. As small and insignificant as this remote location may seem, it was at the center of numerous controversies in the early 1980s.
At the time, physicist and inventor Paul Bennewitz claimed to have discovered an underground base occupied by extraterrestrials near Dulce. The story of him quickly spread through the UFO community. The allegations leveled at the underground base included the abductions of humans by these extraterrestrial beings. Paul Bennewitz had also claimed that extraterrestrials had been engaged in the development of very advanced technologies, including genetic manipulation.
Their plan, according to conspiracy theorists, was to control the government and gain ultimate control of the Earth by means of a New World Order. Some stories had surfaced regarding a perverse alliance made between humans and the inhabitants of the Dulce base that included ties to shadow governments through secret societies such as the Illuminati, the Freemasons, the Bilderberg Group and Skull and Bones. Dulce is not the only place on earth where underground bases are believed to exist, but it is the one that has received greater notoriety in recent times. Underground bases, according to conspiracy theorists, are present all over the world and important outposts are active throughout the United States, Australia, Antarctica and South America.
These bases are connected to each other via a series of channels that connect one base to another. There are also some claims that one of these tunnels led to an active base under the Vatican, where control over Western civilization would have been exercised for centuries. A wealth of information has recently emerged on this topic. This story is so strange that the question arises as to whether everything they claim can ever be true.
To go deeper into the subject, we turn to mythology in search of some answers. It should be noted that mythology, like many of the statements that come from the UFO community, is treated more as a product of science fiction than as a fact.
Traditional mythologists argue that the gods in myth represent the forces of nature that might have been created by someone’s vivid imagination. Having said that, why doesn’t mythology support these seemingly extravagant claims?
Stories of underground realms occupied by “gods” pervaded the narrative of ancient mythology. Depending on the culture, these kingdoms were called Hades, Tartarus, Xibalba, Duat, Patala and Hell.
These “houses of the gods” are not always found in the depths of the earth, but are sometimes described within a mountain or deep under the water. Access to their domain, regardless of location, as has often been described, would take place through the mouth of a cave. The entrance to these underground worlds would remain open only for a few moments after which it would disappear from view completely and instantly. The inhabitants of these underground realms do not like to receive the visit of unwanted people so access would be granted only to select some individuals of their liking.
According to ancient texts, entering the underworld was anything but easy. The texts of the Maya Popol Vuh, for example, describe the path followed by the hero brothers Hunhun-Ahpu and Vukub-Hunapu. It tells of a steep descent into the home of the Lords of Xibalba and the many challenges they had to face. Likewise, texts such as the Egyptian Book of the Dead describe the path that the late god-king must travel to enter Duat. As described in the Popol Vuh, the path was fraught with challenges that the individual had to overcome to enter the realm of the dead, in an underground world.
The Vishnu
The texts of the Purana state that the deepest level of the underworld, Patala, is found 70,000 yojanas below the surface of the earth. In Gilgamesh, the epic that bears his name, this level is described as taking a journey through deep darkness until you come to a light that fills a room of the underworld. The underground domains of the gods are described as spaces filled with houses and vast halls where thousands of people could assemble. Fountains, plants, tall grass, trees and animals of all kinds fill this land.
The divine ascetic, Narada, who is described in the Vishnu Purana claims to have visited Patala.
“Patala was much more fascinating than heaven,” Narada exclaimed. What can be compared to Patala where Nagas (snakes) are decorated with beautiful and brilliant gems that spread pleasure?
These places were embellished by the daughters of Daitya and Danava.
Similar descriptions of dungeons and underwater houses of the gods have spread throughout mythology.
The home of the Sumerian god of fertility Enki, found in the deep waters, is described as a house built of gold, silver and lapis lazuli. Even writers, such as the Greek philosopher Plato, echo this notion. He believed that the earth was strewn with a series of hollows filled with water, air, trees, fruit and flowers. Surprisingly, Plato confirms yet another statement made by modern ufology. Plato goes on to state that these cavities were connected to each other by underground conduits. But Plato is not the only one who refers to tunnels that would be found under the earth’s surface. Inca legends tell of vast networks of tunnels that cross the length and breadth of the planet, under which there are ancient underground cities.
When Pizarro and the Spanish conquistadors entered Peru, they kidnapped the Inca emperor Atahualpha and detained him for a ransom. As a ransom, the Spaniards demanded enough gold to fill a room in exchange for Atahualpha’s release. Some of Pizarro’s men learned of rumors that Inca gold was hidden in a vast network of underground tunnels. The tunnels had been in those places for thousands of years which ran for many kilometers under the Inca capital.
In more recent years the few adventurers who dared to enter the caves below Cusco were never seen again. Only one of them had managed to make it out of the tunnels alive, taking with him two bars of gold that officials said went mad for seeing something terrifying.
Subsequently the entrances to the tunnels were bricked up for security reasons – at least this is the official version. Apache Indians report that their ancestors took refuge in ancient tunnels following a catastrophe on earth. These ancestors of theirs would have wandered for many years in these immense passages that carried the seeds for life in the new world. What about the statements made by Ufologists regarding these bases used for genetic engineering?
According to their claims, genetic engineering took place in the Dulce base at the lowest level, the 7th level, in which extraterrestrials would have engaged in this type of experimentation.
Again, mythology supports this premise.
The Native American Tribes support this theory especially when it comes to discussing this topic. In the lands of the Jicarilla Apache (whose headquarters is located in Dulce), the Navaho and Hopi Indians still retain particular traditions on the creation and birth of man that would have originated under the surface of the earth.
The Algonquians recount:
“So it was done because the world below inside a cave had become too full of living things, full of creatures that crawled in the dark like reptiles one on top of the other.”
Berosus, a Babylonian priest, also tells of hideous creatures that inhabited this subterranean kingdom. He had described men who had only one body with two heads, some with legs and horns like those of a goat and even with the hindquarters of a horse and the body of a man. “In short, in that place there were creatures on which the limbs of every species of animal had been implanted”.
These genetic experiments were conducted by a group of reptilian beings in the lower levels of the base according to reports from some sources. Thomas Castello, a former senior security officer at the base, had testified that the Dulce base was an underground structure with seven lower levels in which there were a series of natural caves. Thomas Castello was certain that these caves had been used by different races of extraterrestrials in the distant past.
In Hindu cosmology, Nagas (serpents) in the distant past lived on earth until the great god Brahma sent them to live under the sea in the seventh level of their subterranean kingdom called Patala. In the descent into the Sumerian kingdom of Inana To (The Other World), Inana was forced to pass through seven doors in order to finally reach the bowels of the underworld.
The Aztec legend tells that Quetzalcoatl, the plumed serpent, went to Mictlan, the Aztec underworld, where he created man with his own blood and the bones of his previous life. Throughout mythology, the act of creation of humanity has always been associated with a specific group of gods, the gods of fertility. The deities of fertility from all over the world are traditionally represented as reptiles or amphibians in nature and appear in art with the appearance of hybrid-looking creatures, the result of a cross between a man and a fish or a man and a snake. A number of individuals argue that the intention of the Reptiles was and is to control mankind, with the aim of dominating the planet by referring to the development of a New World Order. Proponents of this theory believe that the Reptilians, or the by-product of their genetic manipulation experiments, would have the intention of taking control of the Earth’s surface. This acquisition was orchestrated by an extremely powerful and influential group, which includes many of the richest people in the world.
Some argue that the members of this elite group are genetically related to each other.
Their goal is to make sure that every man, woman and child who lives on earth remains obedient to their secret agenda. The Reptilians are accused of wanting to reduce the population on earth through the use of chemical and biological weapons such as GMOs, vaccinations and artificial viruses. It was argued that it was easier to control 500,000 or one million people than the 7 billion people currently living on earth. A look at the mythology related to this statement has a couple of pillars to support it.
The idea of culling the human population on Earth would not be a modern concept. Already in the Sumerian epics of Atrahasis we find a story in which the gods exterminated the population! Twelve hundred (1200) years after the creation of mankind, the number of people living on Earth increased dramatically.
Their “noise” would have disturbed the sleep of the sky god Enlil who decided to send a plague to reduce the population. This mass extermination worked for a while; after another 1200 years the population grew again to the point that Enlil was once again disturbed by the noise caused by chaotic and disobedient humans. This time, in order to decrease their numbers, the rain god Adad intervened and held back the rains so that the world would suffer a great drought so that a large number of human beings would die. The population continued to grow, and after another 1200 years the noise became too loud for Enlil to bear. Wanting to alleviate his problem Enlil told the gods to withhold all the gifts of nature. This went on for six years and, as the lyrics describe, the people of Earth were forced into cannibalism to survive. Despite this, the god of fertility, Enki, tried to save the people from starvation and this angered Enlil even more.
Finally Enlil, out of revenge, decided to destroy humanity once and for all and to do so he decided to flood the world. Enki, once again saved humanity from destruction
total warning Atrahasis of the impending flood by advising him to build a boat to save himself and his family.
