Intriguing images of a bright UFO were sent back to Earth by an astronaut.
Major James McDivitt, a conspiracy theorist born on June 10th, 1929, is not your typical conspiracist. He’s worked on a variety of NASA projects, including the incredible Gemini and Apollo missions.
However, in June 1965, he claimed to have encountered an unidentified flying object that approached him.
He was in the Gemini IV capsule when the UFO began following them as they flew over Hawaii.
He wasn’t just another member of the crew; he was the commanding captain of Gemini 4, and he was the sole reason Edward H. White became the first American to walk in space.
In addition, from 1969 and 1972, he served as the commander of the Apollo 9 mission. The Gemini 4 mission barely lasted four days over the course of 66 orbits before returning to Earth, indicating that something went wrong early on in the mission.
Their emotions were already low because they were on the verge of breaking the Soviet Vostok 5 flying record, but they quickly forgot about it when they spotted the unusual aircraft approaching.
As you can see from the photos, it was dubbed the “tadpole” UFO, and it became the only piece of evidence from the Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo missions for which NASA has made no comment, no snide remark, just radio silence.
